Wright Park is an awesome tourist spot in the Philippines located in Baguio. One of the most visited tourist spots attraction in Baguio city the summer capital of the Philippines. It was named after the architect, Governor Luke E. Wright (who ordered architect Daniel Burnham to build Baguio as a recreational facility for American soldiers and civilians). Wright Park also known as the 'Pool of Pines' a shoal slendered rectangular man-made pool of water. Wright Park is located at the eastern part of baguio city and it is infront of the Mansion. Wright Park main features are the elongated rectangular body of water known as the "Pool of Pines" and the park circle which leads the tourist or visitors to a wide stairway going down to the place where you can enjoy horse back riding. All tourist or visitors adults or children preferred to Ride a horse or a pony when they passby here in the park and some of their families or friends stayed in a restaurants or sitting down on the side of park watching their loved ones while doing horse back riding. There are some horses or ponies that the tourists could be rented and taken more distant along South Drive, to the Mines View Park place or to Outlook Drive with an escort guide. It is advisable to be charged per hour when the tourist intend to rent and take out a horse or pony.
This place is usually crowded with tourists or people from other places in the Philippines during summer and even on holidays. At times here in Wright Park, tourist will see some Igorots dressed in their Philippine native attire and regalia who are willing to pose for a photograph and paiy for them in the cheapest price. Philippine Native handicrafts are also sold at the end of the man-made pool of the wright park by some of Igorot peddlers.
Aside from Burnham Park and Mines View Park, this awesome park is another relaxing and refreshing place to see in the city. It has different attractive features for the tourists or visitors and it is accessible to other tourist spot destinations like Mines View Park, the Mansion, the Botanical Garden and Baguio Cathedral.

Session Road is located at the center of Baguio City which is the Summer Capital of the Philippines. It is also the main thoroughfare of the city. All tourists, residents and students in different schools in the city always had a walked up and down in this road where they can find a department stores, banks, restaurants, boutiques, hotels, movie houses, sidewalk vendors. It is the place where tourist can do window shopping while taking a walk during cold and quite afternoon or evening.
Session Road is divided into two part the Upper and the Lower part. The Lower portion includes Magsaysay Avenue, Father Carlu Street, and Gov. Pack Road, including the Baguio Cathedral area. At the Upper part includes areas where the Post office is located, Leonard Wood Road, SM Baguio, South Drive, Loakan Road, the rotonda, and the Military Cut-off going to Kennon Road.
All tourists who always visit Baguio their vacation is never complete without strolling along Session Road. Any tourist going in the city are likely to cross Session Road. It makes travelling around the city proper a bit simpler. Meandering along Session Road at night allows a romantic view of the place with neon lights, signages, and shop lights reflects all around.

Burnham Park is a romantic site and a relaxing place where the local residents and tourist can spend moments with their loved ones. And one of the most tourist attraction in Baguio the Summer Capital of the Philippines. It was designed by Daniel Burnham and it was named after him. In the center of the Park there is a man-made lake located at the heart of the city where the tourist can rent a rowboats and spend time in the middle of the lake. The Park also features comprising Igorot Garden, Melvin Jones Grandstand, the Orchidarium, the Rose Garden, a playground for kids, a skating rink, the Athletic Bowl, a Picnic Grove, Pine Trees of the Philippines, Sunshine Park, the Japanese Peace Tower and a magnificent lake where the tourists would stay and visit. All families, tourists who visits the park spend time doing picnic, riding a bicycle for adults and children, watching football game. They also have a playground for children and a restaurants to eat. Sometimes they used this park for parades, carnivals, concerts, politically rally and display booths during special events and activities.
Burnham Park is considered to be the "mother of all parks" in Baguio City. The other noted landmarks and structures are constructed encircling this park. Aside from this park, Baguio City has several other public parks, such as Rizal Park, People's Park and Wright Park were the tourist could also visit. From Burnham Park, tourist could also walk up and down to Session Road.

Mines View Park fascinating tourist spots in Baguio City Philippines



Mines View Park is one of the most visiting park and a tourist spots in Baguio City where is the summer capital of the Philippines. To get to the observation deck, tourist will have to take quite long turning stairway, which is right next to the parking area. In the observation deck you can view a panoramic of Benguet's gold and copper mines and the surrounding mountains were is the main attraction of the park. The abandoned mine, used by early Ibaloi/Igorot peoples, is viewed from the said tourist spot. You can stay here for as long as you want, to sit back and relax by enjoying the picaresque view, there are a few benches scattered while enjoying the spectacular view of the park and take some photos. And there are some shops selling Philippine native handicraft such as woodcarvings, silver products and jewelry, clothes and foods and some souvenir items that the tourist can buy. Here in Mines view park the tourist can also rent a binocular in a cheapest price to get a better view of the mountains.
Mines View Park named for its view of Benguet's mountain ranges where gold, silver and other ores. It is the next stop taken by most tourists after seeing The Mansion or Wright Park. To visit the park you should be planned early during the day where in the afternoon the view may not be visible when the fogs starts.
After visiting Mines View Park some tourist also visits the Good Shepherd Convent a short walk from the Park, where you can buy the Philippine best Ube jam made by the nuns, a peanut brittle and other Philippine delicacies product. They had a very nice small deck with the vista of the mountains of the Cordillera. A tour to Baguio will not be complete if you wont see the beauty of Mines view Park.

Manila Cathedral (Intramuros, Manila)

With its intricate stone carvings, stained glass mosaics and rosette windows, the Manila Cathedral is a favorite venue for grand weddings. Located inside the historical walls of Intramuros, it is the seat of the Archdiocese of Manila. When viewed from the air, the cathedral is said to be shaped like a giant cross. The Church of Manila was established by the secular Juan de Vivero who had the honor of baptizing Rajah Matanda. Unforgettable Fort Santiago in intramuros manila

The location of Fort Santiago was once the site of the palace and kingdom of Rajah Sulayman, a Muslim chieftain of pre-hispanic Manila. It was destroyed by the conquistadors upon arriving in 1570, encountering several battles with the Islamic natives. The Spaniards destroyed the native settlements and erected the Fuerte de Santiago in 1571.During the Spanish occupation, the old Manila was a city enclosed by thick, high walls situated along the banks of the Pasig River.
