Mayon Volcano or Mount Mayon, a perfect cone shape
Mayon Volcano, also known as Mount Mayon or in tagalog "Bulkan Mayon", it is located in the province of Albay, in the Bicol Region in the Philippines. Mayon Volcano or Mount Mayon, well known of having a "perfect cone shape" because of its symmetric cone shape. According to the vulcanologist, Mayon Volcano is an active stratovolcano in the Philippines,like other volcanoes Mayon is a part of the Pacific Ring of Fire. The much damage eruption of Mayon Volcano or Mount Mayon happened on February 1, 1814. Volcano emitting dark ash and later on, the town of Cagsawa was buried with a pyroclastic materials ejected from a volcano. The eruption killed almost 1,200 people and also the Casagwa church was destroyed. And now, the Casagwa ruins park are one of the most well known tourist spot destination in the area. The Casagwa ruins are located from the town of Daraga, Albay.
